TICKETS $25 | ALL AGES NOAH SIMPSON is a trumpet player, composer, and producer currently based in the PNW. Originally from Phoenix, Noah started his music education at Scottsdale Community College, and would finish at Portland State University. Simpson’s modern approach to trumpet playing and improvisation is described as energetic, dynamic, and attentive. While currently teaching at Reed College and George Fox University, he frequently collaborates with artists like George Colligan, Alan Jones, Domo Branch, and other PNW natives. He’s also worked with artist like George Benson, Bernard Purdie, Alex Acuna, and Ron Artis II. Currently he’s producing AR location based media under the As:Is label. ADI MEYERSON: She was born in San Francisco, CA and at the age two, relocated with her family to Jerusalem, Israel where she grew up. In August 2012 she moved To New York to continue her studies at "The New School for jazz and contemporary music” and late on at “Manhattan School of Music” for her MM. She had been fortunate to have studied with Master Musicians such as Ron Carter, Reggie Workman, Bob Cranshaw, Miguel Zenon, Jim Mcneely, Dave Leibman and many others. Since Moving to New York, She has played with many greats such as Joel Frahm, Joe Magnarelli, Steve Nelson, Charli Persip and many others around the NYC area in highly renown venues such as Mezzrow, Smalls jazz, The Jazz Standard, Smoke and others. Meyerson has also played and recorded with contemporary artists such as SEENA, Verite, The Side Project, Fielded, MUMU, Melissa McMillan, Camile Trust, Doe Paoro, Kimbra and others. Meyerson is a Member of the Pop Chamber orchestra “Little Kruta” and has recoded and performed with them on Jimmy Fallon,as part of The hum Series, at National Sawdust and many other venues around NYC.
