TICKETS $25 | ALL AGES Todd Marston’s (keyboards/compositions) Integer Quintet takes the listener on a ride through a variety of grooves, with an intense focus on melodic narrative. With Sam Dechenne (trumpet) and Chris Shuttleworth (trombone), this new ensemble has a powerful brass-centered sound that highlights Marston’s melodic compositional voice. Andrew Jones (bass) and Micah Hummel (drums) are a virtuosic rhythm section that acts as a rugged off-road vehicle, carrying the ensemble through complex improvisational territory. Marston synthesizes all of his musical influences, ranging from the four chord structures of 90’s grunge rock to the odd meters of Bulgarian folk music.
