$30 TICKETS | ALL AGES Friday night of the festival, the club welcomes back Nicole McCabe who will join Kerry Politzer for an incredible music memory you don't want to miss. Jazz pianist/composer Kerry Politzer premieres music from her upcoming Whirlwind Recordings release, "Alternate Route." She'll be joined by saxophone luminary Nicole McCabe, bassist Robert Rodriguez, and George Colligan on drums. Nicole: Nicole McCabe is a saxophonist and composer from Marin County, California. She works and lives in Los Angeles, where she earned a Master’s from University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, studying with Vince Mendoza, Patrice Rushen, and Russell Ferrante. She previously earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at Portland State University, where she received the William Bradford and Janet Hughes Mersereau Jazz Scholarship. Kerry: Kerry Politzer is a Portland-based jazz pianist, composer, and educator. She is on the music faculty of Portland State University and has also taught at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Swing University, the University of Portland, and the University of Manitoba.
